We are looking for 6 Able Seafarers Deck to join our new short-sea vessels!
Qualification:
- At least 1 year experience as Able Seafarer Deck (or equivalent) on international trade and preferably on short-sea vessels.
Job Description:
Main Duties
- Treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority.
- Perform safe watchkeeping at sea or in port.
- Assist Duty Officer during cargo operations in port.
- Assist Officer in Charge of mooring/unmooring the vessel and maintaining constant check of mooring lines during the tour of duty as Watchman in port.
- Perform Helmsman duties as required.
- Cooperate with other Deck Hands in securing hatches, other deck openings, and equipment before the vessel’s departure for sea.
- Carry out lashing and unlashing of cargo in accordance with Company procedures and safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in accommodation spaces as ordered by superiors.
